ABOUT US
Merville H. Smith started his insurance agency in Durand WI, over 50 years ago where both his sons and daughter were part of the business. In 2006, the Smith's sold their successful agency to one of their own sales representatives- Karl Kurth. Karl continued the M.H. Smith name in tribute to Merville and his children and their long standing commitment to their community.
In 2012, Karl expanded to a 2nd location in Mondovi WI. Having multiple locations enables us to offer more companies. It is misunderstood that all Independent agencies offer all companies rates and products.
