Specific Insurance needs for Farmers

• Be sure to review your coverage for farm personal property. 
• Ask about “peak season coverage” for when you have more livestock or hay in storage. If you have peak season coverage from previous policy terms, be sure to review each item for any necessary adjustments.
• Do you need milk contamination coverage?
• When insuring equipment under a “blanket limit,” remember that each individual piece of equipment must be named under the blanket in order to have coverage. When purchasing a new piece of equipment be sure to contact your agent with the details.

*Remember coverage for ”Weight of Ice and Snow” loads on farm buildings may need to be added by endorsement.
