Your ATV or snowmobile likely has liability coverage while on your property – but, once you take it “off premise ” you would need to have specific liability coverage on your recreational vehicles.

Adding a recreational vehicle to your homeowner’s policy may not give you all the coverages that a recreational vehicle policy provides . This could leave you vulnerable if you or someone you give permission to use the sled or ATV are injured while riding.

To have physical damage coverage for your recreational vehicle, you will also want to add specific coverage naming each individually along with their values.

Boaters - remember to discuss the values of trolling motors, fishing equipment etc., to be sure you have the proper coverage for those items.
